An end and A beginning ! (2023)

 (Part 1)

When I began you were all cheerful ,

Happy to the most and not in the least fearful. 

One month and then another ,

With vigour you faced the changing weather, 

Of getting through life in general,And exam in particular ;

Trodding on a path that makes your own self better  !


Managing work and panicking life ,

Sometimes you got along others swayed by strife .

Kept going with all those lows ,

Stood your ground amidst those blows.

One after another , life stooped so low, 

Despair entangled the bright happier flow .

Lost hope but soon regained it ;

‘Didn’t have any choice’ or ‘you bargained it’,

Some secrets of getting through….

Only you would know !!


It paid off and it was all worth the struggle, 

Opening that file, oh your heart quite trembled. 

And I still remember that energy and flair,

The strong fever you had suddenly went into air .


Greetings were on the way and congratulations too .

But no one was as happier ;

as I was for you ……….


(Part 2)


Oh I loved seeing you like this ,

Such a lovely smile , such positive bliss.

 

loved every bit of the freedom you gave yourself ,

That you whole heartedly deserved! 

And what you had professed to others, 

Now it was time for you too to be loved !


Strong resistance and sweet belief ,

watching you glee in your own worth ,

such a treat to see ! 


out of your under defiance you tremendously rose ,

There ! You made me memorable ..

 In just one stroke .


That shimmer in your eyes ,

When I felt those happy cries ,

That honesty in your smile,

Your vigour that’s still in its prime,

Gave me those perfect moments where I loved everything that you said and everything that you see;

For once in my entire vocation , I wasn’t 

But you were happening to me !!!


(Part 3)

 

Read such wonderful books ,

And dived into so many fictional realms ,

sometimes they were horrid others soothing balms .

All the pain I bestowed upon you ,

You took it all headstrong .

And everytime I thrashed to you ground ,

You rose and claimed where you belong!


You have been such a love while I was such a pattern ,

And while I gave up on you so many times but you hardly let me abandon !


This persistence made me stay ,

Your positivity leads the way ,

And while I m sure to come back in another 

different or probably more or less same pattern ...

And I can’t promise you 'highs 'owing to  legacy 

But for your coming out again vigorously 

I would each and everyday pray.!!!!!!! “

Addresses !

 Addresses!  So this morning while I was ordering something from a website it automatically picked up my last address . An address for almost 3 years . And while cursing the spying technology everytime on us , I selected to edit it when it gave me options of other addresses to choose from. The saved addresses .  And while I was looking at those addresses .  My life was looking back at me .  And there that was . Several addresses . Several lives ! Addresses reflecting a shy ill prepared girl  Who has just stepped onto this new world  On her own. Reserved and calm . Addresses of that sense of belongingness  With friends . Of the laughter and endless findings . Addresses that found that first love and the first lost love equally . That ecstasy of happiness and that ecstasy of pain . Both.  Addresses that made her weak , tremble sometimes so much so as to take a step back and withdraw . Addresses that made her choose at every step of the way . ...
